These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at vanzacleaning.co.uk and the provision of cleaning and related services by Vanza Properties Ltd (trading as Vanza Cleaning Services, “Vanza”, “we”, “us”). By booking our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Definitions

“Services” means the cleaning and related services we agree to provide to you, as described in your booking confirmation, quote, or service description. “Customer”, “you” means the person or business making a booking or using our website.

2. Bookings and quotes

Quotes and online estimates are invitations to treat unless we confirm otherwise. A contract is formed when we accept your booking (including by written confirmation, email, or other agreed channel) and you agree to the scope, price, and time. You must provide accurate information about the property, access, hazards, and any special requirements. We may refuse or cancel a booking where we reasonably believe the job cannot be completed safely or lawfully.

3. Access, preparation, and your responsibilities

You agree to:

Ensure safe access to the premises at the agreed time and provide any keys, codes, or instructions we reasonably need.
Secure valuables, cash, and fragile or irreplaceable items; we are not responsible for loss or damage to items we were not informed about or that were not stored reasonably.
Inform us of hazards (e.g. biohazards, aggressive pets, unsafe structures) before or at the start of the visit.
Ensure utilities (water, electricity) are available where required for the Services.

4. Price and payment

Prices are as agreed at booking unless we notify you of a change before the Service (for example, if the scope materially increases). Payment terms (deposit, balance, invoicing) will be stated in your booking or invoice. Late payment may incur reasonable administration charges and statutory interest where applicable. If you dispute a charge, contact us promptly in writing.

5. Changes, rescheduling, and cancellation

We will confirm any changes to date, time, or scope in writing where practical. Cancellation and rescheduling fees (if any) depend on how much notice you give and will be communicated at booking or in our cancellation policy. We may reschedule or cancel where circumstances beyond our reasonable control require it (including severe weather, illness, or safety issues); we will try to offer an alternative time.

6. Service standards

We aim to deliver Services with reasonable care and skill. If you are not satisfied, please tell us within a reasonable time (typically within 24–48 hours of completion) so we can investigate and, where appropriate, return to rectify issues covered by your booking. Remedies are limited to re-performance or a reasonable refund at our discretion for that Service; we are not liable for consequential or indirect losses except where the law does not allow such exclusion.

7. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Subject to that, our total liability arising from any contract for Services in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees paid by you for those Services, except where a higher minimum applies by law. We maintain appropriate insurance; details are available on request.

8. Damage and complaints

You must report any alleged damage or loss caused by our staff or contractors as soon as practicable and allow reasonable inspection. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or damage resulting from faulty fixtures, unstable surfaces, or concealed defects.

9. Website use

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, or introduce malware. Content on the site is provided for general information; we may update or withdraw pages without notice.

10. Intellectual property

All branding, text, graphics, and software on the website are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy or reuse them without our prior written consent, except as allowed by law.

11. Privacy

Our use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your understanding of how we handle information.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where you are a consumer entitled to bring proceedings in your local courts under mandatory consumer protection rules.
